1. Overview

Melovance provides software and online services for music practice, performance analysis, and learning guidance.

By creating an account, downloading the application, or using the services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Acceptable use

You may use Melovance only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• interfere with or attempt to bypass the security of the service
• reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the service except where the law expressly permits it
• upload content you do not have the right to use
• use automated systems in a way that disrupts the service or other users

4. Practice analysis and AI guidance

Melovance may generate automated analysis and practice suggestions from performance data you submit.

This guidance is educational and may contain errors. It is not a substitute for professional instruction, medical advice, or hearing-related advice.

5. Plans and availability

Features, limits, supported platforms, and plan availability may change as Melovance develops.

We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Website payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Subscriptions purchased in the iPad app are billed by Apple through your Apple Account.

Lemon Squeezy manages:

• payment processing
• applicable taxes
• invoices and receipts
• subscription billing and renewals

Paid plans renew automatically at the billing interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals and does not remove access already paid for through the end of the current billing period.

For Apple subscriptions, payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account subscription settings; contact Apple for refunds of Apple purchases. Website subscriptions must be managed separately.

Website prices are shown in USD and local taxes may be added at checkout. Website purchases are also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms and policies. Apple displays the price and billing period in your App Store currency before purchase.

7. Intellectual property

Melovance and its original software, design, branding, and service content remain our property or that of our licensors.

You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit and grant us the limited rights needed to operate and improve the service.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided as available without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
